Campaign Specialist

Position Overview

NTU International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Campaign Specialist to join its dynamic team for the project titled "Communication Outreach and Engagement on EU Policies in North Africa, the Middle East, and the Gulf." This initiative aims to enhance the visibility, outreach, and impact of the European Union’s policies, initiatives, and partnerships across the specified regions. The selected candidate will be part of a pool of qualified Non-Key Experts (Senior and Junior) and will be mobilized on a short-term, on-demand basis throughout the project’s 36-month duration. The role requires strategic, technical, and logistical support to DG MENA in planning, developing, and executing day-to-day communication activities.

Key Responsibilities

The Campaign Specialist will be responsible for the following core duties:

• Campaign Development and Execution: Design and implement integrated multi-channel communication campaigns that align with DG MENA’s objectives and EU visibility guidelines. This includes developing campaign concepts, messaging frameworks, and comprehensive communication plans.
• Cross-Channel Coordination: Oversee and coordinate campaign activities across digital platforms, social media, press releases, and offline communication channels to ensure a cohesive and impactful outreach strategy.
• Audience Engagement: Identify target audiences and recommend tailored outreach and engagement strategies to maximize reach and effectiveness in North Africa, the Middle East, and the Gulf region.
• Content Production Support: Collaborate with creative teams, agencies, and stakeholders to produce high-quality communication materials and campaign content that resonates with diverse regional audiences.
• Performance Analysis and Reporting: Monitor campaign performance through data-driven metrics, prepare analytical reports, and provide actionable recommendations to refine and optimize future initiatives.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with internal communication teams, external agencies, media partners, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and alignment with project goals.

Qualifications and Skills

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A degree (or equivalent qualification) in marketing, communication, advertising, or a related field.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; additional proficiency in Arabic, French, or other regional languages is considered an advantage.
• Professional Experience:
  • General Experience: Minimum of 5 years in communication, marketing, or a closely related discipline.
  • Specialized Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing multi-channel campaigns, with a proven track record in strategic planning and execution.
  • Asset: Prior experience with EU-funded or public-sector campaigns is highly desirable.
