Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Finance Manager to oversee and optimize financial operations across our dynamic hotel portfolio. This pivotal role will play a critical part in driving profitability, ensuring compliance, and providing actionable financial insights to support executive decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership, including Area and Cluster General Managers, Owners, and Asset Managers. As a trusted financial advisor, you will be instrumental in shaping the financial health and strategic direction of our hotels while maintaining rigorous adherence to accounting standards and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

The Finance Manager will be responsible for a comprehensive range of financial functions, including:

• Strategic Financial Planning: Lead the development of annual plans, financial projections, and budgets that align with organizational goals, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost efficiency across the hotel portfolio.
• Financial Reporting and Compliance: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), while ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Stakeholder Advisory: Serve as the primary financial advisor to hotel leadership, including General Managers, Owners, and Asset Managers, providing data-driven insights to inform critical business decisions and drive operational improvements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and nurture strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Hotel Finance, Commercial, IT, Procurement, Human Resources, Operations, Shared Service Centres, and Regional Operations Finance, to foster alignment and operational excellence.
• Financial Controls and Risk Management: Implement and maintain robust financial controls to safeguard hotel assets, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and efficiency in all financial processes while mitigating risks within the applicable policy and regulatory framework.
• Expense and Revenue Oversight: Review, authorize, and monitor hotel sales, purchases, salaries, and expenses to ensure fiscal responsibility and adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Team Leadership and Development: Manage and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, professional growth, and recognition while driving performance excellence.

Skills and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the following qualifications and competencies:

• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience in financial planning, reporting, and analysis.
