Position Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Quality Inspector to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all materials and completed works adhere to the highest standards of quality, compliance, and project specifications. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our construction processes, safeguarding client satisfaction, and upholding Saudico’s reputation for excellence in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive inspections in strict accordance with approved Inspection and Test Plans to validate workmanship and material quality.
• Verify that all construction activities, materials, and installations comply with approved drawings, method statements, and technical specifications.
• Conduct thorough inspections of delivered materials to confirm alignment with approved submittals and project requirements.
• Prepare, process, and follow up on Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs) in a timely and organized manner.
• Identify deviations, non-conformances, or defects in workmanship and promptly escalate findings to the QA/QC Engineer for corrective action.
• Monitor and ensure the implementation of corrective measures, including the resolution of quality observations and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inspection reports, checklists, test results, and quality records in compliance with project documentation standards.
• Collaborate closely with consultants, subcontractors, and site engineers to facilitate seamless inspection processes and resolve quality-related concerns.
• Witness and document critical testing activities to verify compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.
• Assist in the preparation of handover documentation, including snag lists, punch lists, and final quality records, to ensure a smooth project closeout.
• Enforce the use of approved materials and construction methodologies to mitigate risks and uphold project integrity.
• Adhere rigorously to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols while performing inspection duties to ensure a secure and compliant work environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Hold a Diploma in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
• Open to fresh graduates or candidates with up to five years of hands-on experience in quality control, inspection, or construction project environments.
• Possess a solid understanding of quality control procedures, inspection methodologies, and technical specifications relevant to construction projects.
• Demonstrate proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications with precision and accuracy.
• Completion of relevant quality control courses or possession of professional certifications in quality assurance/quality control is highly advantageous.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining independence in decision-making.
