Key Responsibilities

The Technical Manager will play a critical role in driving the technical success of our projects by providing expert leadership and oversight across multiple disciplines. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Team Leadership and Management: Lead and mentor a high-performing multidisciplinary technical team, including Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical engineers, ensuring alignment with project goals and company standards.
• Design and Technical Review: Oversee the review and approval of design deliverables, shop drawings, and technical submittals to ensure they meet project specifications and regulatory requirements before execution.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to the Saudi Building Code, international engineering standards, and project-specific technical requirements to maintain the highest levels of quality and safety.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely with consultants, contractors, designers, and client representatives to resolve technical challenges, facilitate seamless communication, and drive project progress.
• BIM and Constructability Oversight: Lead BIM coordination efforts, including multidisciplinary clash detection, to enhance constructability and minimize risks during the construction phase.
• Value Engineering and Innovation: Evaluate value engineering proposals and recommend optimal technical solutions that balance cost efficiency with performance and sustainability.
• Technical Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to project engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
• Risk Management: Identify potential technical risks, develop mitigation strategies, and report critical updates to senior management to ensure proactive decision-making.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in technical management, with a strong focus on high-rise tower projects and multidisciplinary engineering environments.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the Saudi Building Code, international engineering standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM, BS), and best practices in design and construction management.
• BIM Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and processes, including clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Leadership and Communication: Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams, coupled with strong stakeholder management and communication abilities to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Regional Experience: Prior experience working within Saudi Arabia or the broader GCC region is highly advantageous, given the familiarity with local regulations, market dynamics, and construction practices.
