What You’ll Do

In this critical role, you will:

• Design and optimize distributed systems to handle high-throughput data processing, ensuring scalability, fault tolerance, and high availability for our core services.
• Enhance reliability and security by identifying system vulnerabilities, implementing robust monitoring, and developing automated remediation strategies to minimize downtime.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions, leveraging tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native technologies to streamline deployment and management.
• Collaborate closely with backend and frontend engineers to refine our data pipelines, APIs, and WebSocket connections, ensuring seamless integration across our product stack.
• Drive operational efficiency by automating repetitive tasks, creating comprehensive documentation, and establishing best practices for capacity planning and performance optimization.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based servers, networks, and virtualized environments to maintain peak operational performance and resolve critical issues proactively.
• Innovate by contributing to the development of new tools and frameworks that simplify data ingestion, processing, and delivery for our global user base.

Who You Are

We are seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer with a passion for distributed systems, automation, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will:

• Possess a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with a strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and system design.
• Have proven experience with high-load distributed systems, including expertise in Unix/Linux environments, virtualization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and network protocols (TCP/IP).
• Be proficient in one or more high-level programming languages, such as Python or C++, to develop scripts, tools, and automation solutions.
• Understand cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies to deploy and manage scalable applications.
• Have a hands-on approach to DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure monitoring (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana), and incident response strategies.
• Enjoy collaborative problem-solving and thrive in an agile environment where rapid iteration and feedback are key to success.
