Key Responsibilities

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring and enhancing daily production activities, ensuring seamless workflow, and maintaining strict adherence to company and regulatory standards. Your core duties will include:

• Process Supervision and Quality Assurance:
  • Oversee the accurate preparation and addition of spices and meat according to production recipes, ensuring consistency and adherence to quality standards.
  • Monitor the circulation, processing methods, and addition of raw materials to maintain product integrity.
  • Ensure proper handling and utilization of packing materials, tracking inventory and minimizing waste or losses.
• Machine Operations and Maintenance:
  • Monitor machine readings and ensure correct operational procedures are followed at all times.
  • Oversee the disassembly, installation, and periodic cleaning of machinery to maintain optimal performance.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance department to address breakdowns promptly and minimize production downtime.
• Team Leadership and Workflow Management:
  • Assign responsibilities and prepare detailed schedules to streamline workflow and maximize productivity.
  • Supervise and train employees, ensuring they are proficient in operating machinery and following safety protocols.
  • Implement and enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards to safeguard all personnel and equipment.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Examine production outputs to verify compliance with specifications and quality benchmarks.
  • Submit detailed performance reports to management, highlighting progress, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Identify inefficiencies in production processes and propose data-driven solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Compliance and Continuous Improvement:
  • Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at every stage of production.
  • Train new employees on safe machine operation, standard procedures, and emergency protocols.
  • Schedule and oversee regular equipment maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend machinery lifespan.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Experience: Minimum of three years in a Production Supervisor role within the frozen food or meat processing industry.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with a variety of manufacturing machines and tools, coupled with a deep understanding of production workflows.
• Educational Background: A diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, veterinary science, or agriculture, providing a strong foundation for process optimization and quality control.
• Leadership and Problem-Solving: Proven ability to make informed decisions under pressure, adapt to changing circumstances, and develop effective solutions during unexpected challenges.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, quality assurance, and production staff.
• Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to monitoring production processes, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring adherence to specifications.
