We are expanding our data and analytics practice and are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead to spearhead a transformative enterprise data platform and business intelligence engagement.

In this pivotal role, you will serve as the bridge between business strategy and technical execution, ensuring seamless alignment between stakeholder expectations and cutting-edge data solutions. As the leader of the technical delivery team, you will oversee every phase of the project—from requirements gathering and solution design to user acceptance testing (UAT), go-live support, and long-term operational excellence. Your ability to drive efficiency, foster collaboration, and deliver high-impact results will be instrumental in shaping the success of this critical initiative.

Key Responsibilities

As the Technical Lead, your responsibilities will include:

• Leadership and Delivery: Direct the technical delivery team, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and quality standards while coordinating engineering and business intelligence activities to achieve operational excellence.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with business and executive stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document comprehensive requirements. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics that drive measurable outcomes and business value.
• Workshop Facilitation: Plan and execute stakeholder workshops and requirement-elicitation sessions, fostering clear communication and consensus-building to ensure the project’s technical direction aligns with strategic objectives.
• Quality Assurance and Testing: Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) processes and manage defect triage and resolution, ensuring that the solution meets the highest standards of performance, usability, and reliability.
• Post-Go-Live Support: Lead operational support activities post-implementation, including incident management, resolution within defined service-level agreements (SLAs), and continuous improvement initiatives to sustain long-term success.
• Client and IT Coordination: Collaborate closely with the client’s IT teams to align on environments, access protocols, integrations, and release cycles, ensuring seamless interoperability and scalability.
• Documentation and Knowledge Management: Maintain up-to-date support documentation, runbooks, and operational knowledge bases to empower the team and ensure consistency in delivery and support processes.

Required Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must possess:

• Eight or more years of hands-on experience in data and business intelligence (BI) technical delivery and operations, with a focus on enterprise-scale solutions.
• A proven ability to facilitate requirements elicitation and collaborate effectively with business and executive stakeholders to translate complex needs into actionable technical specifications.
• Certification in ITIL Foundation, demonstrating expertise in IT service management, operational processes, and SLA compliance.
• Extensive experience in SLA management and operating production support processes, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of data platforms.
• A track record of leading technical teams through all phases of delivery—from planning and execution to UAT and post-go-live support—with a focus on driving efficiency and quality.

While not mandatory, the following experiences will further enhance your candidacy:

• Hands-on expertise in data engineering or BI development, including experience with tools such as SQL, ETL processes, data warehousing, or modern BI platforms.
• Experience in consulting or managed-services delivery models, where you have successfully advised clients on data strategy, implementation, and optimization.
• Additional certifications in agile delivery methodologies, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), or advanced service management frameworks.
