Key Responsibilities

The Area Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution of business operations while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Operational Leadership: Provide hands-on leadership to multiple teams, ensuring alignment with company objectives, policies, and performance targets. Oversee daily operations to maintain high standards of efficiency, productivity, and service delivery.
• Team Development & Management: Mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing team of supervisors and staff, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment. Conduct regular performance reviews and implement targeted training programs to enhance team capabilities.
• Strategic Planning & Execution: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive growth, profitability, and market expansion in the Riyadh region. Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success. Prepare comprehensive reports on performance metrics, financial outcomes, and team productivity, presenting insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure strict adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Implement robust risk management practices to mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risks.
• Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between the company and key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies. Build and maintain strong relationships to enhance brand reputation and foster long-term partnerships.
• Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in current processes and lead initiatives to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance overall productivity. Champion a culture of continuous improvement across all functional areas.

Qualifications & Competencies

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in operations management, preferably within a retail, logistics, or service-oriented industry. Prior experience in a managerial or leadership role is essential.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, with a track record of achieving operational excellence and driving business growth. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills are critical.
• Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Exceptional analytical abilities to interpret complex data, identify trends, and develop data-driven strategies. Proficiency in using business intelligence tools and software is advantageous.
• Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and build consensus among stakeholders. Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and project management tools. Familiarity with local business regulations and market dynamics in Riyadh is a valuable asset.
