Role Overview: Assistant Manager - Finance Planning & Analysis

As the Assistant Manager of Finance Planning & Analysis, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function into a strategic powerhouse. This position is instrumental in preparing Almosafer for its IPO journey, requiring you to architect robust financial models, lead the budgeting process, and provide executive-level insights that drive informed decision-making. Your responsibilities will extend beyond traditional financial analysis to include the development of a dynamic 5-year business plan, governance of rolling forecasts, and the delivery of investor-ready financial data. This role is designed for a forward-thinking finance professional who thrives in a high-stakes environment and is eager to contribute to the company’s growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Budgeting & Rolling Forecast Governance:
    • Budget Execution: Lead the three-phase budgeting process, including Preparation, Top-Down, and Deep-Dive phases, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
    • Model Ownership: Develop and maintain a centralized, dynamic three-statement financial model that is fully integrated with the business plan and driven by key business drivers.
    • Forecasting Cycles: Oversee the official quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and relevance in a rapidly evolving business environment.
    • Governance & Continuous Improvement: Establish clear timelines, templates, and governance frameworks for Finance Business Partners (FBPs). Document and implement lessons learned to refine forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
  • IPO Business Plan & Due Diligence:
    • 5-Year Model Development: Create and maintain a comprehensive, dynamic business plan that is IPO-ready, assumption-driven, and capable of performing complex sensitivity and scenario analyses.
    • Due Diligence Support: Serve as the technical lead for IPO due diligence, providing accurate financial data, reconciliations, and insights to validate the business plan for external stakeholders.
  • Performance Intelligence & Variance Analysis:
    • Weekly/Monthly Reviews: Conduct detailed variance analysis comparing actuals against budgets and forecasts, identifying root causes of performance deviations and providing actionable insights.
    • Decision Support: Design and deliver a Monthly Performance Intelligence Package that integrates P&L, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet data to offer a macro view of company health alongside operational deep-dives.
    • Data Integrity: Support the development of a centralized financial dataset to serve as the single source of truth for all corporate finance reporting, ensuring consistency and reliability across the organization.
  • Process Improvement & Digitalization:
    • Template Enhancement: Formalize and streamline the budgeting process by creating structured templates that facilitate seamless input from Finance Business Partners and consolidate outputs efficiently.
    • Automation & Innovation: Lead the digital transformation of management reporting through tools like Tableau, driving the adoption of AI-enabled variance commentary and predictive analytics to enhance decision-making.

Profile Requirements

  • Experience: 5–7 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or Corporate Finance, with a proven track record in complex financial modeling and strategic financial planning.
  • Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CFA, CMA, or CPA are highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, particularly in building integrated three-statement financial models. Proficiency with Tableau for data visualization and ERP systems, such as SAP, is essential.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to challenge assumptions and collaborate effectively with Finance Business Partners to ensure budget inputs are realistic, achievable, and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Resilience & Adaptability: Capacity to thrive under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and maintain high standards of reporting accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to distill complex financial information into clear, concise insights that support executive decision-making and stakeholder communication.
