Business Development Executive – Construction Sector

Position Overview

HPS Testing Lab is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team in Jeddah. This role is designed for a part-time, full-time, or freelance professional responsible for cultivating and expanding business relationships with key stakeholders in the construction and engineering sectors. The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between HPS Testing Lab and engineering consultancy firms, contractors, developers, and construction companies, driving growth through strategic sales and business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Relationship Building: Establish and nurture long-term partnerships with engineering consultancies, contractors, developers, and construction firms to promote HPS Testing Lab’s comprehensive suite of services.
• Sales & Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, conduct market research, and develop tailored solutions to meet the evolving needs of clients in the construction sector.Technical Engagement: Collaborate with internal technical teams to present and explain HPS Testing Lab’s specialized services, including geotechnical investigations, soil testing, construction material testing, concrete testing, and engineering consultancy support.Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to secure new contracts and retain existing clients.Market Expansion: Drive revenue growth by exploring untapped markets, diversifying client portfolios, and positioning HPS Testing Lab as a leader in construction testing and consultancy services.
• Client Retention: Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through consistent follow-ups, service delivery monitoring, and proactive issue resolution.

Qualifications & Experience

We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in B2B sales, business development, or technical services within the construction and engineering industries. The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Industry Connections: Existing professional relationships with key players in Jeddah’s construction and engineering sectors, including consultancies, contractors, and developers.
• Technical Acumen: Familiarity with geotechnical services, soil investigation, construction material testing, concrete testing, laboratory operations, engineering consultancy, or construction-related services is highly advantageous.
• Sales Excellence: A demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets, with a results-oriented mindset and strong negotiation skills.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and persuasive manner.
• Adaptability: The flexibility to work in a dynamic environment, whether as a part-time, full-time, or freelance professional, while maintaining a high level of productivity and commitment.
