Key Responsibilities

As a Rigger at AGS Prime Arabia, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Execution of Safe Rigging Operations: Perform all rigging and lifting tasks in strict compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Equipment Inspection: Thoroughly inspect rigging equipment, including slings, shackles, hooks, and lifting gear, prior to use to ensure structural integrity and functionality.
• Load Assessment and Equipment Selection: Evaluate load requirements and select the appropriate rigging equipment to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations.
• Clear Communication with Operators: Provide precise hand signals and instructions to crane operators to guide the safe movement and positioning of loads.
• Load Control and Securing: Secure, guide, and control loads during lifting operations, ensuring stability and preventing accidents.
• Adherence to Lifting Plans: Follow detailed lifting plans and site-specific safety procedures to maintain operational consistency and compliance.
• Immediate Reporting: Promptly report any damaged equipment or unsafe conditions to relevant personnel to mitigate risks.
• Team Coordination: Collaborate effectively with supervisors, crane operators, and other rigging personnel to ensure seamless execution of lifting tasks.

Requirements

To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Proven Experience: Valid experience as a **Rigger Level 1** or **Rigger Level 3**, with a strong understanding of rigging techniques and lifting procedures.
• Legal Compliance: Valid **Iqama** is mandatory for this position.
• Immediate Availability: Must be currently available and based in **Jeddah** to commence work without delay.
