Role Overview

As a GYN & Hernia Tech Consultant in the Southern Region (Abha-South), you will play a pivotal role in advancing patient care through technical expertise and hands-on support in surgical settings. This position offers a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between cutting-edge medical technologies and the healthcare professionals who utilize them. Your responsibilities will encompass providing specialized technical guidance, ensuring the safe and effective deployment of Medtronic’s advanced surgical tools, and fostering strong relationships with surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff. Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Deliver expert technical support to sales teams and healthcare professionals (HCPs) in the Gynecology (GYN), Hernia, and General Surgery (GS) segments. This includes attending operating room (OR) cases, providing product demonstrations, and ensuring the proper installation and maintenance of Medtronic technologies.
• Collaboration & Education: Conduct on-site education sessions, product training, and scientific presentations to enhance the understanding and adoption of Medtronic’s surgical solutions. Act as a liaison between sales personnel and technical teams to streamline communication and project execution.
• Strategic Execution: Support the development and implementation of line strategies by providing technical data, insights, and recommendations to sales teams. Assist in the planning and execution of sales presentations, installations, and maintenance activities to drive product adoption and customer satisfaction.
• Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and organizations to ensure seamless integration of Medtronic technologies into clinical workflows. Address technical inquiries and provide solutions to enhance the effectiveness of surgical procedures.
• Travel & Field Support: Engage in frequent domestic travel within the assigned territory, with travel requirements potentially reaching up to 50% of working days. This role demands a high level of mobility and adaptability to meet the needs of healthcare facilities across the Southern Region.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, Nursing, Clinical Sciences, or a related healthcare field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical devices, clinical support, or healthcare services, with a preference for candidates with a background in surgery sales (GYN or GS specialties). Proven ability to deliver projects, manage stakeholders, and achieve measurable results in a regulated environment.
• Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to quickly learn and apply technical and clinical knowledge in fast-paced surgical environments. Familiarity with advanced surgical tools and instruments is highly desirable.
• Language Requirements: Fluency in both English and Arabic is essential to effectively engage with local healthcare teams and stakeholders.
• Physical Requirements: This role requires the ability to work in operating rooms and clinical settings, including prolonged standing, mobility, and the capacity to handle physically demanding tasks as needed.
