Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Financials Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the technical bridge between Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud and our organization’s financial operations, ensuring seamless integration, robust functionality, and compliance with both Group standards and Saudi regulatory requirements—including ZATCA e-invoicing mandates. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle Financials modules to support General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Project Financials, while upholding data integrity, security, and audit readiness across all business sectors.

Key Responsibilities

The Oracle Financials Functional Consultant will be responsible for the following core functions:

  • Technical Design and Configuration: Develop and maintain technical solutions within Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud, including custom reports, extracts, and integrations to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business requirements.
  • Data Management: Create, maintain, and execute File-Based Data Import (FBDI) templates to facilitate bulk data loads for journals, invoices, and master data, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data migration processes.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Build and support Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and BI Publisher (BIP) reports tailored to the needs of stakeholders across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Project Financials.
  • System Integrations: Configure and troubleshoot integrations between Oracle Financials and third-party systems, including banking platforms, payroll interfaces, ZATCA e-invoicing systems, and procurement solutions, to ensure seamless data flow and operational continuity.
  • Procurement and PPM Support: Collaborate with Group Finance and Business Development/Bidding teams to provide technical configuration support for Oracle Procurement and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) modules, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Security and Compliance: Manage security roles, data access sets, and role-based access controls in adherence to Group data governance policies and segregation-of-duties requirements, safeguarding sensitive financial information.
  • Patch Management and Testing: Conduct impact analyses and technical testing for Oracle quarterly patch updates, validating that new releases do not disrupt existing configurations or compromise system stability.
  • Issue Resolution and Support: Diagnose and resolve system defects by logging and tracking Service Requests (SRs) through resolution in collaboration with Oracle Support and internal IT teams.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Treasury, Procurement, and Internal Audit stakeholders to translate complex business and functional requirements into precise technical specifications, fostering alignment and operational efficiency.
  • Documentation and Audit Readiness: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, configuration workbooks, and change logs to support audit readiness, knowledge continuity, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Lead UAT cycles for new modules, enhancements, and process changes, including preparation of test scripts and triage of defects to ensure smooth implementation and adoption.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data quality and consistency across Financials modules through periodic audits, validation rules, and reconciliation with source systems, mitigating risks associated with data discrepancies.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and possess relevant experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting/Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Financials Cloud technical or functional roles, preferably within a multi-sector or large-scale organization.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in File-Based Data Import (FBDI), Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), BI Publisher (BIP), and REST/SOAP web services integrations.
  • Module-Specific Knowledge: Prior experience supporting Oracle Financials modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, or Project Financials is highly preferred.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Experience with ZATCA e-invoicing integration and a strong understanding of Saudi regulatory and tax compliance requirements are advantageous.
  • Certifications: Oracle Cloud Financials certifications, such as Oracle Financials Cloud: General Ledger or Payables Implementation Specialist, are considered a plus.
