Key Responsibilities

As a Technical Trainer at Applicantz, you will play a critical role in enhancing the technical competencies of our workforce. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Curriculum Development: Design, develop, and update technical training materials, including manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules, to ensure alignment with industry standards and organizational needs.
• Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for employees at various levels, covering technical topics such as software applications, hardware systems, safety protocols, and industry-specific procedures.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback mechanisms, and performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement and knowledge retention.
• Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical guidance and support to trainees, addressing their queries and challenges to foster a culture of learning and development.
• Collaboration: Work closely with department heads, subject matter experts, and HR teams to identify training needs, customize programs, and integrate training initiatives with broader organizational goals.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all training programs adhere to local regulations, industry standards, and company policies, particularly in areas such as workplace safety and operational compliance.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field, such as Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Advanced certifications or specialized training in instructional design or technical education are highly desirable.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Technical Trainer, preferably in an industrial, manufacturing, or corporate environment. Experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical, or energy sectors is a strong advantage.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of technical systems, software, and tools relevant to the industry, along with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• Instructional Skills: Exceptional presentation, communication, and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage learners and adapt training methods to different learning styles.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address training challenges and develop innovative solutions.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
