Key Responsibilities

• Leadership in Audit Engagements: Oversee and execute audit assignments, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting, with a focus on telecom-specific risks and regulatory requirements.
• Industry Specialization: Apply deep knowledge of the telecommunications sector to identify key audit risks, including revenue recognition, regulatory compliance, cybersecurity, and digital transformation impacts.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with senior management, finance teams, and external stakeholders to provide actionable insights and recommendations that drive operational improvements.
• Regulatory & Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to international auditing standards (ISA), local regulations, and best practices, particularly in the context of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and evolving telecom policies.
• Team Mentorship & Development: Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence, professional growth, and continuous learning within the audit function.
• Innovation & Digital Audit: Leverage cutting-edge audit technologies, such as data analytics and AI-driven tools, to enhance audit quality, efficiency, and predictive insights for telecom clients.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CIA are highly desirable.
• Industry Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of progressive audit experience, with at least 2+ years in the telecommunications sector or a related high-tech industry.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of IFRS, ISA, and local GAAP, along with experience in SOX compliance, internal controls, and risk assessment.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial and operational data, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Communication & Leadership: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate findings clearly to diverse audiences, including non-financial stakeholders.
