Position Overview

This critical leadership role requires a seasoned IT professional with a proven track record in technical management, team leadership, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless IT infrastructure performance, minimizing downtime, and supporting the facility’s 24/7 shift-based manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

The Information Technology Support Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of IT systems across the manufacturing site. Core responsibilities include:

• IT Operations Leadership: Oversee all day-to-day IT operations, ensuring robust and uninterrupted support for manufacturing processes.
• Team Supervision: Lead and mentor an on-site IT Support Engineer, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Provide hands-on expertise in resolving complex technical issues related to desktops, laptops, servers, peripherals, and software applications.
• Network Infrastructure Management: Maintain and optimize essential network components, including LAN, Wi-Fi, switches, and connectivity solutions, to ensure seamless data flow and operational continuity.
• Project Coordination: Lead and coordinate IT projects, implementations, and site-level technical initiatives, aligning them with business objectives and manufacturing requirements.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary IT liaison for business users, project teams, and client stakeholders, addressing concerns, providing solutions, and facilitating effective communication.
• Incident Resolution: Monitor IT systems proactively, identify potential risks, and resolve incidents promptly to minimize operational disruptions and downtime.
• Independent Management: Demonstrate the ability to operate autonomously in a remote site environment, making critical decisions with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of service delivery.

Mandatory Requirements

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Professional Experience: Minimum of five years in a leadership capacity, such as IT Team Lead, IT Supervisor, IT Manager, or equivalent, with a strong background in IT operations and infrastructure support.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience in desktop support, server management, LAN/Wi-Fi administration, switch configurations, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Industry Experience: Prior experience in manufacturing, industrial plants, food manufacturing, laundry plants, or similar environments is highly advantageous.
• Project and Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated expertise in coordinating IT projects and managing relationships with stakeholders across diverse teams.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with fluency in English required and proficiency in Arabic considered a plus.
• Operational Flexibility: Willingness and ability to work in a 24/7 or shift-based manufacturing environment, adapting to varying schedules as needed.
• Mobility and Logistics: Valid driving license and access to a personal vehicle are mandatory for daily commuting to the site, located approximately one hour from Umluj.
