Position Overview

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Senior Specialist - Development Financial Analysis to join the Sports Business Unit. This pivotal role will play a critical part in driving financial planning, management reporting, and performance analysis initiatives that underpin strategic and operational decision-making. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing robust financial models, conducting detailed analyses, and delivering actionable insights that enhance financial performance and support long-term business objectives. Key Responsibilities

The Senior Specialist - Development Financial Analysis will be tasked with a diverse range of responsibilities, including:

• Financial Modelling and Planning: Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning activities. Ensure models are accurate, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals.
• Financial Analysis and Scenario Modelling: Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, including scenario modelling and sensitivity analyses, to evaluate potential business decisions and their financial implications.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasting exercises, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational realities.
• Management Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports that highlight key financial performance indicators, business trends, and critical insights for stakeholders.
• Variance Analysis: Perform detailed Actual vs Budget vs Forecast variance analyses to identify performance drivers, trends, and areas for improvement. Provide clear explanations for deviations and recommend corrective actions.
• Financial Reporting Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial reporting across all business activities, adhering to regulatory and internal standards.
• Dashboard and KPI Development: Design, develop, and maintain dynamic Excel dashboards and KPI reports to facilitate data-driven decision-making and enhance reporting efficiency.
• Automation and Visualization: Utilize advanced tools such as Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power BI (or equivalent platforms) to automate reporting processes, streamline data collection, and improve the visualization of financial insights.
• Executive Support: Collaborate with senior management to prepare high-impact executive presentations and reporting materials that communicate financial performance, strategic initiatives, and business opportunities.
• Data Interpretation: Translate complex financial data into clear, concise, and actionable business insights that inform strategic planning and operational execution.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional qualifications such as CFA, CPA, CA, ACCA, or CMA are considered advantageous.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in Financial Analysis, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), or Management Reporting, with a strong preference for candidates with exposure to Real Estate, Construction, Hospitality, Infrastructure, or large-scale development projects.
• Technical Skills: Proven expertise in financial modelling, advanced Microsoft Excel (including complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros), and experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
• Analytical and Communication Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail, coupled with the capacity to present financial insights in a clear and compelling manner. Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
