Role Overview

As a Credit Manager at Rixos, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial integrity, operational efficiency, and exceptional guest experiences. This position demands a high level of professionalism, strategic thinking, and a commitment to upholding the company’s standards of excellence. You will oversee credit operations, manage financial risks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the company’s growth and sustainability. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining Rixos’s reputation for premium service and financial prudence.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Compliance and Standards: Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and regulations as outlined in the company handbook. Ensure strict compliance among your team and uphold the highest standards of grooming, professionalism, and conduct.
• Customer and Team Collaboration: Foster a culture of cooperation and excellence by providing prompt, courteous, and proactive support to both guests and colleagues. Anticipate guest needs to enhance satisfaction and collaborate effectively with other departments to deliver seamless service.
• Financial Oversight: Manage credit operations with integrity, transparency, and a focus on risk mitigation. Ensure all financial transactions and credit assessments align with company policies and industry best practices.
• Documentation and Operational Standards: Maintain familiarity with all relevant company documentation, particularly the Operational Standards Manual pertinent to your area of responsibility. Ensure these standards are consistently applied and communicated to your team.
• Flexibility and Adaptability: Demonstrate adaptability by supporting other hotel departments during peak periods or as business needs arise. Participate in Task Force Teams for new property openings to ensure a smooth and successful launch.
• Additional Duties: Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned, including but not limited to financial reporting, credit analysis, and team training initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Alternatively, a vocational degree in hospitality with a focus on financial management is acceptable.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in credit management, financial analysis, or a related discipline within the hospitality or service industry.
