Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Optician to join our team. Key Responsibilities

• Customer Consultation: Greet customers warmly and conduct thorough assessments to understand their visual requirements, lifestyle preferences, and style choices. This will enable you to recommend the most suitable eyewear solutions tailored to their needs.
• Product Recommendations: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of optical products to suggest frames, lenses, and accessories that align with customer preferences, budget, and prescription requirements. Provide clear explanations of product features, benefits, and pricing to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Sales Execution: Drive sales performance by meeting and exceeding individual and team targets. Engage customers proactively, address their concerns, and close transactions efficiently while maintaining a consultative approach.
• Transaction Processing: Handle sales transactions with precision, including processing payments, managing inventory, and ensuring accurate documentation. Provide basic after-sales support to address any follow-up questions or concerns.
• Showroom Management: Maintain a visually appealing and organized showroom by adhering to merchandising standards. Ensure that frames, lenses, and promotional materials are displayed attractively to enhance the customer shopping experience.
• Technical Accuracy: Accurately interpret and execute optical prescriptions, ensuring that lenses are manufactured and fitted correctly to meet customer needs. Pay meticulous attention to detail to guarantee optimal visual outcomes and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Hold a Diploma or certification in Optical Technology or a related field. This foundational knowledge will equip you with the technical expertise required for the role.
• Experience: Possess a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in an optical lab or retail optical environment. This experience will have honed your ability to deliver exceptional service and handle the demands of the role.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate a strong ability to read and execute optical prescriptions with precision. Your attention to detail and technical accuracy will ensure that customers receive the correct eyewear solutions.
• Sales and Communication: Exhibit exceptional sales acumen, communication skills, and a customer-centric approach. Your ability to build rapport, address customer inquiries, and close sales will be instrumental in driving business success.
• Language Skills: Possess fluent English communication skills to engage effectively with a diverse customer base. Proficiency in Arabic is considered an additional advantage and will enhance your ability to connect with a broader audience.
