Senior Software Engineer (.NET)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer (.NET) to join our dynamic technology team. Key Responsibilities

• Application Development & Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications and backend services using C# and ASP.NET Core, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
• API & Integration Development: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and facilitate seamless system integrations with internal and external platforms to enhance interoperability and functionality.
• Database Design & Optimization: Design, optimize, and maintain relational databases using SQL Server and PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.
• Software Architecture & Best Practices: Apply advanced software engineering principles, including Domain-Driven Design (DDD), clean architecture, and design patterns, to create maintainable and scalable solutions.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Partner closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical implementations, ensuring alignment and successful delivery.
• Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Participate in solution design, technical reviews, and architecture discussions while mentoring junior engineers to foster knowledge sharing and professional growth within the team.
• Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex application issues across various system layers, optimizing performance, scalability, and security to meet evolving business demands.
• Code Quality & Process Adherence: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, development processes, and industry best practices, while actively participating in CI/CD workflows using Git for version control.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in C# and ASP.NET Core, along with experience in ASP.NET MVC and Entity Framework Core.
• API Development: Extensive experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs to support scalable and secure integrations.
• Database Management: In-depth knowledge of SQL Server and PostgreSQL, including database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Software Design Principles: Solid understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and clean architecture principles to build maintainable and scalable systems.
• Version Control & Collaboration: Proficiency in Git and adherence to version control best practices, including participation in CI/CD workflows.
• Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Exceptional debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical abilities to resolve complex technical challenges efficiently.
• Communication & Teamwork: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative mindset to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with frontend technologies such as Angular to enhance full-stack development capabilities.
• Proficiency in Dapper and LINQ for optimized data access and query performance.
• Background in payment platforms or fintech solutions, demonstrating expertise in secure transaction processing.
• Experience developing HR, ERP, or other enterprise business systems, showcasing domain-specific knowledge.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies to drive iterative development and continuous improvement.
