Key Responsibilities

As our Computer Operator, your primary focus will be on the effective management of the IBM Maximo system, ensuring it serves as the backbone of our maintenance and operational activities. Your role will encompass a blend of technical execution and strategic oversight, with the following core responsibilities:

• System Operation & Data Integrity
  - Operate and maintain the IBM Maximo system with unwavering precision, ensuring it fully supports all Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities.
  - Create, update, and close work orders in strict adherence to company procedures, guaranteeing compliance and accuracy at every stage.
  - Maintain meticulous records for all assets, equipment, and maintenance activities, ensuring data is consistently accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible for decision-making.

• Work Order & Maintenance Scheduling
  - Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules based on real-time system data and operational priorities, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
  - Assign and monitor work orders for field technicians and engineers, ensuring tasks are executed on time and to the highest standards.
  - Actively track task progress, promptly report delays or anomalies, and escalate system or operational issues to the duty manager for timely resolution.

• Reporting & Strategic Insights
  - Generate comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports extracted from Maximo, providing actionable insights for leadership.
  - Analyze maintenance trends to identify recurring faults or inefficiencies, proposing data-driven solutions to enhance system performance.
  - Collaborate with management to support performance reviews and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) analysis, leveraging Maximo data to inform strategic decisions.

• System Support & Process Optimization
  - Partner closely with IT and technical support teams to coordinate Maximo updates, troubleshoot system issues, and manage user access controls.
  - Contribute to workflow optimization initiatives, data cleansing efforts, and process improvements to streamline operations and reduce inefficiencies.
  - Train and mentor new staff on Maximo operation procedures and data entry standards, fostering a culture of excellence and consistency.
