Job Purpose

As a dedicated professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of our industrial plant, warehouse, and other company premises. Your primary role will involve monitoring and controlling access to the property, safeguarding assets, and maintaining a secure environment for all employees, visitors, and operations. This position plays a critical role in preventing unauthorized access, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring compliance with all security protocols.

Key Accountabilities

• Patrolling and Monitoring: Conduct regular patrols of the company’s premises to deter criminal activity and ensure a safe and secure environment. Maintain vigilance and respond promptly to any suspicious behavior or incidents.
• Access Control: Manage the entrance and exit of employees, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with established protocols. Verify identification, issue passes, and maintain accurate records of all entries and exits.
• Surveillance Monitoring: Operate and monitor surveillance cameras to detect and respond to disruptions, unauthorized activities, or potential security threats. Report any irregularities to the appropriate authorities or management.
• Document Verification: Review and verify material delivery notes, asset transfer notes, and release requests to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Quality Assurance: Uphold and implement quality standards for products, processes, and related activities to ensure consistency and compliance with industry regulations.
• Business Process Execution: Perform tasks in accordance with established work routines and instructions to maintain operational efficiency and consistency.
• Compliance: Strictly adhere to company policies, procedures, and processes to ensure legal and regulatory compliance across all activities.
• Health, Safety, and Environment: Prioritize adherence to all safety protocols and environmental regulations to create a secure and sustainable workplace for all employees and visitors.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Academic Qualification: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 2 to 4 years in a security-related role or a similar field.
• Technical Competencies:
  • Quality Control: Ensure adherence to quality standards in all security-related activities.
  • Safety: Maintain a strong focus on safety protocols and emergency preparedness.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues efficiently to minimize disruptions.

  • Multi-Tasking: Manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining high standards.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments to achieve common goals.
