Key Responsibilities

The IT Operations Specialist will be responsible for a wide range of technical and operational duties, including:

• End User Support: Provide timely and effective technical assistance to employees, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
• System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical problems across IT assets, including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripheral devices, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• IT Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, including inventory tracking, lifecycle management, and procurement support to align resources with organizational needs.
• Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce endpoint security protocols, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements to safeguard sensitive data and mitigate risks.
• Incident and Request Management: Manage IT incidents and service requests through established ticketing systems, prioritizing issues based on urgency and impact while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
• User Lifecycle Support: Facilitate seamless onboarding and offboarding processes, provisioning and deprovisioning access to systems, applications, and networks to support organizational transitions.
• IT Systems Maintenance: Monitor and maintain IT systems and services, performing routine checks, updates, and patches to ensure stability, security, and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Experience: A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in computer technical support, preferably in a corporate or enterprise environment.
• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks, IT ticketing systems, Active Directory, Microsoft Outlook, and peripheral devices such as printers and scanners.
• Troubleshooting Skills: Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, with a methodical and analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Communication: Fluency in written and spoken English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications: Knowledge or certification in ITIL, CompTIA A+, or equivalent credentials is highly desirable and demonstrates a commitment to professional development.
• Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
