Job Purpose

The National Roaming & FTTH Settlement Services Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely financial settlements for national roaming and Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) services. This position is responsible for generating invoices, negotiating discrepancies, and optimizing cost structures in alignment with regulatory obligations. The role demands meticulous adherence to STC’s business policies and procedures while fostering seamless collaboration across departments to uphold financial integrity and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Invoice Production & Management: Generate and finalize invoices for all national roaming and FTTH services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Negotiate and resolve discrepancies in invoices, expediting collection processes and facilitating timely settlements with national roaming and FTTH partners.
  • Cost Optimization Studies: Conduct analytical studies to identify opportunities for reducing costs associated with regulatory obligations, enhancing financial efficiency without compromising service quality.
  • Settlement & Payment Coordination: Work out net settlements for national roaming and FTTH services, schedule payments, and coordinate with STC Finance to ensure seamless processing and adherence to deadlines.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with regulatory policies, procedures, and quality standards, including the timely exchange of monthly traffic records as recommended by CITC.
  • Financial Reporting & Closing: Oversee the monthly closing of financial wholesale data, ensuring accurate and timely release to the General Ledger (GL) through Finance for reporting purposes.
  • Process Enhancement: Collaborate with Wholesale Services Management to identify and implement system enhancements that improve the efficiency and functionality of national roaming and FTTH settlement processes.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Work closely with sales and network teams to ensure that settlement and billing terms are met, and all invoices align with approved billing agreements.
  • Payment Follow-Up: Proactively follow up on unpaid invoices, negotiate payment terms, and resolve collection discrepancies to minimize financial risks and optimize cash flow.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

  • Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 to 6 years of relevant experience, with a strong preference for candidates with prior exposure to roaming services in the telecommunications industry, ideally within a wholesale environment.
  • Certifications: Additional certifications in finance, accounting, or telecommunications are advantageous.

Strong negotiation and communication abilities are essential to foster productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
