Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will oversee the financial health of Equinox Resort Amaala by managing accounts receivable with precision and professionalism. Your expertise will ensure that all financial transactions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards. Key duties include:

• Daily Accounts Receivable Management: Handle all accounts receivable transactions, including posting payments, invoices, and adjustments, to maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records.
• Customer and Corporate Relations: Monitor accounts for guests, corporate clients, and travel agencies, ensuring timely follow-ups on outstanding balances while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Invoicing and Documentation: Generate and distribute invoices, statements, and supporting documentation to clients and corporate partners, ensuring clarity and transparency in all financial communications.
• Reconciliation and Reporting: Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of accounts receivable to identify and resolve discrepancies, providing actionable insights for the Finance Department.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with the Front Office, Sales, Reservations, and Finance teams to resolve billing discrepancies, ensuring seamless operations across all departments.
• Collection and Follow-Up: Proactively manage overdue payments, maintaining accurate collection records while fostering positive client relationships.
• Month-End Closing Support: Assist in month-end closing procedures, preparing comprehensive accounts receivable reports to support strategic decision-making.
• Compliance and Documentation: Maintain meticulous records and ensure adherence to hotel accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Audit Support: Provide timely and accurate financial documentation to support both internal and external audits, reinforcing trust and transparency.
• Financial Integrity: Uphold the highest standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and timeliness in all financial transactions, safeguarding the resort’s reputation and financial stability.
