Key Responsibilities:

• System Monitoring and Maintenance: Proactively monitor IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and applications, to ensure optimal performance, uptime, and minimal downtime. Implement and enforce monitoring tools to detect and resolve issues before they impact operations.
• Incident and Problem Management: Lead the resolution of IT incidents and technical issues with a focus on minimizing disruption. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
• Infrastructure Support: Manage and maintain hardware and software systems, including virtualization platforms, storage solutions, and backup/recovery processes. Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and industry standards.
• Security and Compliance: Assist in maintaining the security of IT systems by enforcing access controls, patch management, and compliance with data protection regulations. Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and best practices.
• Documentation and Process Improvement: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT processes, procedures, and configurations. Continuously evaluate and enhance operational workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Vendor and Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure alignment on IT service delivery. Provide technical guidance and support to end-users across the organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience (3+ years) in IT operations, systems administration, or a similar role within a corporate or industrial environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of operating systems (Windows Server, Linux), networking concepts, and IT infrastructure components.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator would be advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
