Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team at Delta Hotels by Marriott in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, ensuring the safety, functionality, and reliability of our facilities. Key Responsibilities

• Electrical Installation and Maintenance: Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using both hand tools and power tools. Ensure all installations comply with current National Electric Code and local regulations.
• Diagnostics and Repairs: Inspect and diagnose malfunctioning electrical systems, tools, and components. Utilize advanced testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
• System Planning and Compliance: Plan the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and regulatory requirements. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate and compliant installations.
• Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine preventative maintenance on electrical systems, tools, and equipment to minimize downtime and extend their lifespan. Respond promptly to repair requests to maintain operational efficiency.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of maintenance inventory, requisition parts and supplies as needed, and ensure proper storage of flammable materials in accordance with safety protocols.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company safety, security, and operational policies. Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries immediately. Complete required safety training and certifications to uphold the highest standards of workplace safety.
• Customer Service and Professionalism: Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address their service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities with care and respect. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets at all times.
• Team Collaboration: Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, listen actively to concerns, and respond appropriately. Communicate clearly and professionally, ensuring accurate and complete preparation and review of information in various formats.
• Physical Requirements: Perform job duties that may include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Utilize fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights.
• Additional Duties: Fulfill other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors to support the overall operations of the facility.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Completion of a technical, trade, or vocational school program is preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of related work experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or repair is required.
• Certification: Possession of a valid driver’s license is mandatory.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, as well as the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Safety Awareness: A strong commitment to workplace safety, including adherence to all safety protocols and completion of required training and certifications.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests, colleagues, and supervisors.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and manipulating objects, while maintaining fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
