SALES CASHIER AND RECEPTIONIST

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Cash Handling and Sales: Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments. Assist customers with purchases, process refunds or exchanges when necessary, and ensure all transactions are recorded in compliance with company policies.
• Customer Service Excellence: Greet customers warmly, address inquiries, and provide product information or recommendations to enhance their shopping experience. Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when required. Maintain a positive and welcoming demeanor at all times.
• Reception Duties: Act as the primary point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees. Manage incoming calls, direct inquiries to the appropriate departments, and ensure a seamless flow of communication within the organization. Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining visitor logs, distributing mail, and coordinating meeting schedules.
• Inventory and Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock replenishment, and report any discrepancies or low-stock items to the relevant team. Ensure the sales floor and reception area are well-organized, clean, and visually appealing to customers.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and administrative teams to support company initiatives and achieve sales targets. Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and performance reviews to continuously improve service quality and operational efficiency.
• Compliance and Security: Adhere to company policies, health and safety regulations, and data protection standards. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure compliance with all financial and administrative protocols.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business administration, finance, or a related field is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a cashier, receptionist, or customer service role. Prior experience in a retail or hospitality environment is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, cash registers, and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). Strong typing and data entry skills are essential.
• Language Skills: Fluency in Arabic and English; additional languages are a valuable asset.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment.
