AH-64E Mechanic Lead

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AH-64E Mechanic Lead to join our elite team at V2X in Riyadh. This critical role demands a seasoned professional with a proven track record in maintaining and repairing the AH-64E Apache helicopter, ensuring operational readiness and mission success. Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance and supervision to a team of mechanics, overseeing all aspects of AH-64E maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications, military standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintenance & Repairs: Perform and oversee complex maintenance tasks, including periodic inspections, component replacements, and system diagnostics. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks to verify the integrity of all maintenance activities. Ensure that all work is documented accurately and meets stringent quality control standards.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mechanics, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
• Safety & Compliance: Uphold the highest safety protocols and ensure adherence to all operational, environmental, and occupational health regulations. Promote a safety-first mindset across the team and facility.
• Logistics & Coordination: Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure the timely availability of parts, tools, and equipment. Manage inventory levels and coordinate with external vendors when necessary.
• Training & Development: Identify training needs within the team and facilitate professional development opportunities to enhance technical skills and certifications. Stay updated on advancements in AH-64E systems and maintenance practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or technical certification in aviation maintenance or a related field is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an AH-64E mechanic, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Prior military or defense industry experience is a strong plus.
• Certifications: FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license or equivalent military certification. Additional certifications in AH-64E systems or related technologies are advantageous.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems of the AH-64E Apache helicopter. Familiarity with advanced diagnostic tools and software used in aviation maintenance.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proven problem-solving abilities and a commitment to operational excellence.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy components, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods. Must meet all medical and physical fitness standards for the role.
