Position Overview

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a seasoned and visionary leader to join our executive team as the Director Finance & Asset Performance for Film Studios. This pivotal role is designed for a strategic finance professional who will oversee the financial management and performance optimization of our state-of-the-art film studio facilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the financial sustainability, operational efficiency, and long-term profitability of our film studio assets while driving strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

The Director Finance & Asset Performance will be responsible for the following core functions:

• Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives, ensuring the optimal allocation of resources and sustainable growth of film studio assets.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, including detailed financial planning, variance analysis, and long-term forecasting to support informed decision-making.
• Asset Performance Management: Monitor, evaluate, and enhance the financial and operational performance of film studio assets through rigorous data analysis, identifying opportunities to maximize utilization, efficiency, and returns.
• Financial Modeling & Reporting: Design and implement robust financial models and reporting frameworks to provide actionable insights for senior management, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with operational, commercial, and executive teams to align financial strategies with business objectives, supporting initiatives that drive revenue growth and asset value enhancement.
• Financial Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to corporate financial policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards, maintaining the highest levels of transparency and accountability in financial operations.
• Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, investors, and external stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement to drive organizational success.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA, CFA, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 12-15 years of progressive experience in finance, asset management, or a related discipline, with a proven track record in the film, media, or entertainment industries being a significant advantage.
• Technical Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and asset performance management, with a strong command of financial modeling and reporting tools.
• Leadership & Soft Skills: Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities, coupled with strong leadership and team management experience to drive performance and innovation.
• Communication & Stakeholder Management: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from operational teams to executive leadership and external partners.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel, including the ability to leverage data analytics for actionable insights.
