Key Responsibilities

The Merchandiser is responsible for maximizing the on-shelf presence of PepsiCo products in all assigned retail outlets. This role involves executing in-store merchandising activities, including adhering to planograms for both on-shelf and off-shelf displays. The Merchandiser will also conduct in-store sampling sessions and promotions when required, ensuring compliance with agreed arrangements and reporting any deviations to the pre-seller immediately. Additionally, the role includes providing the pre-seller with up-to-date market information to capitalize on selling opportunities.

Key accountabilities include:

• Visiting specific retail outlets as per the daily journey plan provided by your supervisor.
• Merchandising PepsiCo products within assigned retail stores, including shelf, stand, and floor displays.
• Placing point-of-sale (POS) materials adjacent to PepsiCo displays where applicable.
• Ensuring all access points are merchandised according to approved planograms.
• Rotating products using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method and removing sub-standard products to maintain fresh stock.
• Monitoring and reporting competitive activities to identify market trends and opportunities.
• Reporting any deviations from agreed terms with assigned retail customers or outlets.
• Submitting daily activity reports to your supervisor, detailing the prior day’s tasks and outcomes.
• Participating in sampling and redemption campaigns as required to drive consumer engagement.
• Maintaining a professional appearance and adhering to the Frito Lay code of conduct in all interactions.

Performance Metrics

Success in this role will be measured by:

• Execution standards, ensuring high-quality merchandising and product availability.
• Adherence to planogram standards to maintain consistent brand representation.
• Compliance with the daily journey plan to optimize time and resource allocation.

Qualifications and Competencies
