الوصف الوظيفي

IT Technical Specialist – Drive Innovation in Healthcare Technology Integration

Are you a visionary IT professional with a passion for bridging the gap between cutting-edge technology and real-world clinical needs? At Nihon Kohden Middle East, we are seeking a highly skilled IT Technical Specialist to lead the integration of advanced medical systems, ensuring seamless connectivity, scalability, and security across some of the most critical healthcare environments in the region. This role is your opportunity to make a tangible impact on patient care by designing, implementing, and optimizing integrated solutions that enhance operational efficiency and clinical outcomes.

In this dynamic position, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including medical partners and hospital end-users, to translate complex requirements into robust technical specifications. Your expertise will be instrumental in defining data flows, selecting optimal technologies, and ensuring that every integration adheres to the highest standards of performance, security, and scalability. Whether you're configuring interfaces between medical devices and hospital information systems or troubleshooting complex integration challenges, your work will directly contribute to the reliability and effectiveness of life-saving technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of technical and project management duties, including:

  • Technical Design and Architecture: Partner with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into detailed technical designs, ensuring seamless integration between medical devices, IT solutions, and hospital information systems such as Neuro application, HiQ, Polaris ECG, and Tele-ICU solutions.
  • System Integration: Develop and configure interfaces between medical devices—such as patient monitors, ECG systems, and defibrillators—and existing IT infrastructure, including HL7-based hospital information systems.
  • Data Management and Transformation: Define accurate data mappings, cleansing processes, and validation protocols to ensure seamless and consistent information flow between integrated systems.
  • Testing, Deployment, and Documentation: Lead integration test plans to validate performance, security, and reliability, oversee deployments in live hospital environments without disrupting operations, and maintain comprehensive documentation for future reference.
  • Project Ownership: Plan, coordinate, and execute integration projects from inception to completion, managing timelines, resources, and delivery milestones with precision.
  • Post-Deployment Support: Monitor integrated systems for performance and security, resolve technical issues, and provide training to end-users and partners to ensure confident adoption and ongoing success.

Why Join Us?

At Nihon Kohden Middle East, we are committed to advancing healthcare technology across the Middle East, Levant, Türkiye, Pakistan, and Africa. Your contributions will directly impact the delivery of critical patient monitoring, neurology, and diagnostic solutions in some of the region’s most prestigious healthcare facilities. This is more than a job—it’s a chance to be part of a mission-driven organization that values innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

What You’ll Bring

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with:

  • At least three years of experience in IT systems integration, with a preference for healthcare or medical device environments.
  • Proven expertise in network configuration (CCNA level or equivalent), SQL databases, Citrix environments, and VMware.
  • Familiarity with HL7 standards and hospital information system integrations, ensuring seamless data exchange.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound judgments under pressure and deliver results in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including planning, organization, and the ability to see projects through to successful completion.
  • Adaptability and collaboration, with comfort working independently as well as in global teams across multiple time zones.

While not mandatory, the following will be highly advantageous:

  • Experience working with clinical devices such as patient monitors, ECG systems, defibrillators, and EEG equipment.
  • Hands-on experience deploying systems in live hospital environments.
  • Exposure to Tele-ICU or remote patient monitoring solutions.

Location and Opportunity

This full-time, on-site position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, reporting to the Senior Manager, Service. We are targeting a start date in September or October 2026, with applications closing on 14 September 2026.
