We are seeking a visionary Accounting Operations Lead to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial backbone of our operations. In this strategic leadership position, you will oversee accounting operations, drive operational efficiency, and lead cross-functional initiatives to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and business growth. Key Responsibilities

As the Accounting Operations Lead, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing critical financial processes across Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C), ensuring seamless financial operations that support Syarah’s ambitious growth trajectory. Your role will encompass:

• Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Leadership: Oversee the entire accounts payable lifecycle, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Collaborate closely with procurement and operations teams to resolve discrepancies, streamline purchasing workflows, and enhance vendor relationships.
• Order-to-Cash (O2C) Management: Supervise accounts receivable processes, billing accuracy, and customer invoicing while monitoring key performance indicators such as Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), billing precision, and collection efficiency. Partner with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing disputes and maintain strong cash flow management.
• Operational Control & Compliance: Implement and enforce robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks while ensuring full compliance with local tax regulations (including VAT and withholding), accounting standards, and company policies. Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting, to deliver timely and reliable insights.
• Team Leadership & Process Innovation: Lead and mentor a high-performing accounting team focused on P2P and O2C operations. Identify opportunities for automation, workflow optimization, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational bottlenecks. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.
