Key Responsibilities

The Biomedical Equipment Engineers will be entrusted with a diverse range of responsibilities to maintain the integrity and functionality of medical equipment. Your core duties will include:

• Equipment Management: Oversee the efficient operation, maintenance, and availability of medical devices to ensure uninterrupted healthcare services.
• Maintenance Execution: Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with established protocols to minimize downtime and enhance equipment longevity.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly, escalating complex problems to authorized service providers when necessary to ensure swift resolution.
• Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers to facilitate maintenance, calibration, repairs, and technical support, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
• Compliance Assurance: Verify that all medical equipment adheres to stringent safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including local and international guidelines.
• Documentation Management: Maintain meticulous records of equipment inventories, maintenance logs, and technical documentation to support audits and regulatory compliance.
• Installation & Commissioning Support: Assist in the installation, commissioning, inspection, and replacement of medical devices to ensure seamless integration into existing systems.
• Performance Monitoring: Continuously assess equipment performance to identify potential risks and proactively implement measures to enhance reliability and operational efficiency.
• Technical Support: Provide expert guidance and assistance to internal teams and end-users, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and operational excellence.
• Process Improvement: Contribute innovative ideas to optimize equipment reliability, reduce maintenance costs, and streamline operational workflows.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or a related field.
• Experience: While prior experience is not mandatory, a strong foundation in biomedical equipment maintenance and technical troubleshooting is highly desirable.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
