Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to join our team at MAKKAH WATER SAFA in Jeddah. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing all financial planning, reporting, and control activities to ensure the financial health and compliance of the organization. The Finance Manager will play a critical role in driving strategic decision-making through accurate financial analysis, robust budgeting, and efficient cash flow management. This position requires a proactive leader who can collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and procurement, to provide data-driven insights that support business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts to align with organizational goals. Conduct detailed cost analysis, margin assessments, and investment evaluations to support strategic initiatives.
• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with local regulations, tax obligations, and Zakat requirements. Maintain the general ledger and execute month-end closing procedures with precision.
• Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Monitor and optimize cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability. Implement effective treasury strategies to support operational and investment needs.
• Internal Controls & Audit Support: Strengthen internal financial controls to mitigate risks and ensure transparency. Lead the finance team in preparing for internal and external audits, addressing findings proactively, and implementing corrective actions.
• Team Leadership & Development: Provide mentorship and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Drive process enhancements to streamline financial operations and improve reporting accuracy.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership by delivering insightful financial analysis, trend identification, and strategic recommendations. Partner with operations, sales, and procurement teams to align financial objectives with business priorities.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and professional attributes:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred. Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA are highly advantageous.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least four (4) years in a leadership role. Prior experience in the manufacturing or FMCG sector, particularly within the water or beverage industry, is strongly preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of financial systems, ERP software, and advanced Excel skills. Experience with data analysis tools and financial modeling is essential for driving informed decision-making.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Saudi Arabia’s regulatory framework, including tax compliance, Zakat obligations, and financial reporting standards, is critical.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership capabilities, effective communication, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels are vital for success in this role.
