As Director of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in steering the financial health of The House Hotel Jeddah, ensuring strategic alignment with Kerten Hospitality’s core values: Connection, Curation, Innovation, and Leading the Way. Key Responsibilities

In this strategic role, you will:

• Oversee all financial operations with meticulous attention to accuracy, compliance, and strategic reporting, ensuring alignment with corporate and ownership objectives.
• Develop and maintain monthly financial statements, forecasts, and budgets, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize performance and mitigate risks.
• Manage cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, payroll coordination, and treasury controls to safeguard liquidity and operational stability.
• Ensure full compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements, mitigating legal and financial exposure.
• Design, implement, and monitor robust internal controls, audit processes, and financial policies to protect assets and enhance transparency.
• Collaborate closely with department heads to drive cost control, budgetary discipline, and operational efficiency, fostering a culture of financial accountability.
• Oversee procurement processes, supplier negotiations, and invoice approvals to optimize spend and strengthen vendor relationships.
• Support pre-opening or seasonal ramp-up initiatives, including system configuration, financial procedure setup, and stakeholder alignment.
• Provide actionable financial insights and strategic recommendations to hotel management, empowering data-informed decision-making.

Experience & Qualifications

We are seeking a finance professional with:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field—or equivalent industry experience.
• At least 5 years of finance experience in hospitality, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
• Deep expertise in hotel accounting, financial reporting, and cost control, with a proven track record of driving operational efficiency.
• Advanced proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, leveraging tools to anticipate trends and mitigate risks.
• Experience in pre-opening phases or project setup, demonstrating adaptability and strategic foresight.
• Mastery of financial systems (PMS, POS, accounting software) and advanced Excel skills for complex data analysis.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a distinct advantage in this regional context.
