Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

The Web Developer will play a critical role in the ongoing evolution of our digital infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

• Website Development and Maintenance: Implement continuous updates, improvements, and redevelopment initiatives to enhance the visual appeal, functionality, and performance of Fakeeh Care Group’s websites.
• Content Management: Review, update, and optimize web page content, links, and digital assets using industry-standard tools to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Issue Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve web page or server issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain seamless user access.
• Security and Compliance: Monitor systems for potential intrusions, denial-of-service attacks, or security breaches, and implement proactive measures such as firewalls and encryption to protect our digital assets.
• Infrastructure Administration: Oversee and administer Internet/Intranet infrastructure, including web, FTP, news, and mail servers, to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaboration and Usability: Work closely with the development team to address usability challenges, prioritize technical needs, and resolve conflicts to deliver a cohesive user experience.
• Backup and Recovery: Regularly test backup and recovery plans to ensure data integrity and business continuity in the event of disruptions.
• Technical Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging web development trends, tools, and best practices through continuous learning, industry conferences, and professional development opportunities.
• Software Development: Design, build, and maintain websites using advanced authoring and scripting languages, digital media tools, and modern development frameworks. Evaluate code for validity, structure, and cross-browser/device compatibility.
• Architecture and Integration: Develop front-end and back-end website architecture, including servers, databases, and APIs, to ensure robust functionality and seamless integration.
• Testing and Optimization: Conduct rigorous testing to assess software responsiveness, efficiency, and performance. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to enhance stability and user satisfaction.
• Agile Development: Participate in agile software development processes, contributing to design, implementation, deployment, and automation strategies to streamline development and release cycles.
• Tool and Process Improvement: Build and implement new development tools and infrastructure to enhance productivity, collaboration, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in web development or a closely related technical discipline.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both oral and written English and Arabic to effectively communicate with stakeholders and end-users.
• Certifications: AWS Certified Developer or Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer credentials are highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.
