Senior IT Security Operation Architect - Saudi National- Riyadh, KSA

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Security Operation Architect to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities

• Security Architecture Design: Develop and implement comprehensive IT security architectures that align with business objectives and industry standards, including frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and threats, then design and deploy effective mitigation strategies to minimize exposure and enhance resilience.
• Security Operations Management: Oversee and optimize security operations, including monitoring, incident response, and threat detection, to ensure proactive identification and resolution of security incidents.
• Policy and Compliance Development: Establish, review, and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure adherence to local and international regulatory requirements, including GDPR, SAMA, and other relevant standards.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and executive leadership, to ensure security measures are integrated into all business processes and projects.
• Technology Evaluation and Integration: Assess emerging security technologies and solutions, recommending and integrating tools that enhance the organization’s security posture while optimizing cost and performance.
• Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver security awareness programs to educate employees on best practices, emerging threats, and their roles in maintaining a secure environment.
• Incident Response and Recovery: Lead the development and execution of incident response plans, ensuring rapid detection, containment, and recovery from security breaches or cyberattacks.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CCSP) are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in IT security, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership role. Proven expertise in designing and implementing security architectures for large-scale enterprises is essential.
• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), SIEM tools, endpoint protection, and encryption technologies. Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCSP, or GIAC are preferred.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Leadership qualities and the ability to mentor junior team members are critical.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
