Key Responsibilities

The Hotel Cleanliness Expert will oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties to guarantee the pristine condition of our hotel facilities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleanliness Oversight: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure compliance with Marriott’s stringent cleanliness protocols.
• Standard Implementation: Train and guide housekeeping staff in adhering to global hygiene standards, including proper sanitization techniques and the use of approved cleaning agents.
• Quality Assurance: Perform detailed audits to verify that all areas meet or exceed cleanliness benchmarks, addressing any deficiencies promptly and effectively.
• Guest Experience Enhancement: Collaborate with front desk and maintenance teams to resolve cleanliness-related guest concerns and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to local health and safety regulations, as well as Marriott’s corporate policies, to maintain a secure and compliant environment for both guests and staff.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure optimal availability and cost-efficiency without compromising quality.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or quality assurance role within the hospitality or cleaning industry, with a proven track record in maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional observational skills to identify and rectify even the smallest cleanliness issues before they impact guest satisfaction.
• Leadership: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively train, delegate, and inspire a diverse team of housekeeping professionals.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with industry-standard cleaning equipment, sanitization products, and Marriott’s proprietary cleaning protocols.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze situations, troubleshoot challenges, and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
