Key Responsibilities

As a Family Medicine Physician at Bupa Arabia, your core responsibilities will include:

• Patient-Centered Care: Deliver high-quality, compassionate healthcare by conducting thorough medical examinations, taking detailed patient histories, and developing personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose and manage common and complex medical conditions, including but not limited to diabetes, hypertension, respiratory infections, and musculoskeletal disorders. Provide evidence-based medical interventions and preventive care to optimize patient outcomes.
• Health Promotion and Disease Prevention: Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention strategies, and wellness practices. Conduct routine health screenings, vaccinations, and wellness check-ups to proactively address potential health risks.
• Chronic Disease Management: Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement long-term care plans for patients with chronic illnesses. Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment regimens as needed, and ensure continuity of care.
• Referrals and Coordination: Facilitate seamless patient referrals to specialists, diagnostic centers, or allied healthcare services when necessary. Maintain clear and concise communication with specialists to ensure coordinated and integrated care.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and possess the following skills:

• Medical Degree: A recognized medical degree (MD or MBBS) from an accredited institution, with a specialization in Family Medicine.
• Board Certification: Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine from a recognized medical board or council.
• Licensure: Valid medical license to practice in Saudi Arabia, issued by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
• Clinical Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of postgraduate experience in family medicine or primary care, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams in a multicultural environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical software for patient management and documentation.
