Position Overview

DeepSource Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Building Management System Engineer (BMS) to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This critical role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced building automation systems that enhance operational efficiency, sustainability, and occupant comfort in modern facilities. Key Responsibilities

• System Design & Integration: Develop and deploy comprehensive BMS solutions tailored to client requirements, ensuring seamless integration with HVAC, lighting, security, and other building systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end automation strategies.
• Installation & Commissioning: Oversee the installation, configuration, and commissioning of BMS hardware and software, adhering to industry best practices and project timelines. Conduct rigorous testing to validate system performance and reliability.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve technical issues in BMS infrastructure, including hardware failures, software glitches, and network connectivity problems. Provide proactive maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize system uptime.
• Energy Efficiency & Sustainability: Implement energy-saving initiatives through BMS optimization, such as demand response strategies, predictive maintenance, and real-time monitoring. Ensure compliance with local and international sustainability standards.
• Documentation & Training: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including system schematics, operational manuals, and troubleshooting guides. Conduct training sessions for facility managers and technical staff to ensure smooth system adoption and operation.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to align BMS solutions with project objectives. Present technical proposals, progress reports, and performance metrics to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all BMS installations and operations comply with relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and client-specific requirements. Prioritize the health and safety of all personnel and building occupants.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Automation, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced certifications in BMS, HVAC, or energy management are highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of BMS platforms such as Siemens Desigo, Honeywell EBI, Johnson Controls Metasys, or similar systems. Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, C#) and SCADA systems is a plus.
• Industry Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in BMS engineering, with a proven track record in designing, installing, and maintaining automation systems in commercial or industrial settings.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and exceptional communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a multicultural environment.
• Certifications: Valid professional certifications such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM), LEED AP, or BMS-specific credentials are advantageous.
