Field Engineer - Coiled Tubing

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Engineer - Cooled Tubing to join our dynamic team in Dhahran. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of coiled tubing units, ensuring optimal performance in well intervention and completion operations. Your expertise will contribute directly to the success of our projects, supporting our clients in the oil and gas industry with cutting-edge solutions and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Operation and Maintenance: Execute coiled tubing operations, including well interventions, completions, and stimulations, while adhering to strict safety and operational protocols. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Technical Support: Provide on-site technical expertise to clients and internal teams, offering solutions to operational challenges and optimizing coiled tubing performance for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Safety and Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of safety, ensuring all operations comply with industry regulations, company policies, and environmental guidelines. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard personnel and assets.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Monitor and analyze operational data to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare detailed reports and documentation to track progress, document lessons learned, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and field personnel, to coordinate activities and achieve project objectives. Maintain clear and professional communication with clients to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
• Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training programs to stay current with industry advancements and best practices. Share knowledge with junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess a strong technical background and a commitment to operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Petroleum, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in coiled tubing operations, well intervention, or a similar technical role within the oil and gas industry.
• In-depth knowledge of coiled tubing equipment, well intervention techniques, and industry standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex operational issues under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in using software tools for data analysis, reporting, and operational planning.
• Valid certifications in well control (e.g., IWCF or IADC) and coiled tubing operations are highly desirable.
• Willingness to work in a rotational or on-call schedule, including extended hours and travel to remote locations as required.
