Key Responsibilities

As a Field Service Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

• On-Site Technical Support: Deliver prompt and professional on-site technical assistance to clients, ensuring minimal downtime for critical medical and safety equipment.
• Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues, and execute repairs for a wide range of Dräger products, including ventilators, anesthesia machines, monitoring systems, and gas detection devices.
• Client Training and Education: Conduct training sessions for clients and healthcare professionals to ensure proper usage, operation, and safety protocols for Dräger equipment.
• Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work orders, reports, and client communications, in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and company policies while performing field service operations. Ensure that all equipment meets industry standards and certifications.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing responsive, professional, and solution-oriented service. Address client concerns and escalate issues as necessary to ensure satisfaction.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest advancements in medical and safety technology. Provide feedback to the engineering and product development teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Educational Background: A degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. Relevant certifications in medical equipment repair or safety technology are highly desirable.
• Technical Expertise: Proven experience in the maintenance, repair, and calibration of medical and safety equipment. Familiarity with Dräger products or similar technologies is a strong advantage.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Customer Service Orientation: A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service and building long-term client relationships.
• Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel extensively within the Jeddah region and occasionally to other locations as needed to support field service operations.
