Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Storage Consultant to join our dynamic team in Jeddah, operating in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in enterprise storage solutions, data center infrastructure, and backup environments, with a proven track record of delivering high-impact solutions in critical production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Enterprise Storage & Data Center Management: Oversee SAN/NAS storage administration, capacity management, performance optimization, and troubleshooting in enterprise data center environments.
• Storage & Backup Technologies: Demonstrate hands-on expertise with Veeam, Commvault, ExaGrid, Synology NAS, and similar backup/storage solutions. Familiarity with Azure Storage and Azure Backup is considered advantageous.
• Virtualization & Cloud Integration: Manage storage integration with VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, and other enterprise storage platforms to ensure seamless operations.
• Disaster Recovery & Data Protection: Develop and implement robust backup, disaster recovery (DR), and data protection strategies, including RPO/RTO management and multi-site data center support.
• Incident & Capacity Management: Lead P1/P2 incident resolution, root cause analysis (RCA), capacity planning, and infrastructure change management to maintain high availability and performance.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and optimize storage solutions tailored to client requirements, particularly in the banking/financial services sector.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Experience: Minimum of 6+ years in IT, with 8+ years specifically in enterprise storage, data center infrastructure, and backup environments.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of SAN/NAS storage systems, storage connectivity, high-availability environments, and backup technologies.
• Certifications: Relevant storage, virtualization, or cloud certifications are highly preferred.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional ability to troubleshoot complex issues, conduct RCA, and implement data-driven solutions.
• Industry Experience: Prior exposure to the banking/financial services sector is a significant advantage.
