Key Responsibilities

The Staff Nurse I will perform a wide range of duties to ensure the highest quality of patient care, including:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in accordance with nursing standards and protocols;
• Administering medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by healthcare providers;
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress, including vital signs, symptoms, and responses to interventions;
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care;
• Providing patient and family education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment plans;
• Demonstrating leadership by acting as a shift resource or team leader when required;
• Ensuring compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards;
• Participating in continuous quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Associate Degree/Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution;
• Experience:
  • For Bachelor’s Degree holders: Minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience as a Registered Nurse;
  • For Associate Degree/Diploma holders: Minimum of four (4) years of full-time experience as a Registered Nurse;
• Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure from the country of origin and valid licensure from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS);
• Specialty Experience: Applicants must have professional experience in at least one of the following clinical areas:
  • Emergency Department
  • Adult Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
  • Inpatient Medical Unit
  • Inpatient Surgical Units
  • Neuroscience Units
  • Acute Care Admission Unit
  • Oncology (Adult/Pediatric)
  • Cardiovascular Telemetry (CVT)
  • Cardiac Surgical ICU
  • Operating Room (Scrub Nurse)
  • OBGYN Unit
  • Hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, or Plasma Pheresis Nursing
  • Transplant Unit
  • Cardiac Care Unit (CCU)
  • OBGYN or Inpatient Medical-Surgical Unit
  • Labor and Delivery
  • Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
  • General Pediatrics (Medical or Surgical Units)
  • Neonatal ICU (NICU)
  • Endoscopy
  • Radiology Nursing
  • Recovery Room or Pre-Anesthesia Care Unit
  • Home Health Care
  • Cardiac Catheterization Lab
