Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Consultant to join our dynamic team in Jeddah, operating in a hybrid work model. Key Responsibilities

• System Administration: Install, configure, and manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems with a focus on performance optimization, stability, and security.
• Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex system issues, including performance bottlenecks, hardware failures, and software conflicts.
• Network Services Management: Configure and maintain advanced network services such as DNS, DHCP, and LDAP to ensure seamless connectivity and security.
• Automation & Scripting: Develop and manage shell scripts and Ansible playbooks to automate routine tasks, enhance efficiency, and reduce manual intervention.
• Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce robust security practices, including firewall configurations, encryption protocols, and access control mechanisms to safeguard critical systems.
• Virtualization & Containerization: Deploy and manage virtualized environments using VMware, alongside containerization and orchestration solutions such as Docker and Kubernetes, including Red Hat OpenShift.
• Storage & Backup Solutions: Administer storage systems using LVM and RAID configurations, and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Vulnerability Management: Address and remediate vulnerability assessment (VA) and change request (CR) findings to maintain system security and compliance.
• Documentation & Collaboration: Maintain accurate technical documentation and foster effective communication with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
• Shift Work: Be prepared to work in shifts as required by the project demands.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 6 years in Linux system administration, with hands-on expertise in enterprise environments.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, shell scripting, Ansible, VMware, Docker, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift.
• Security & Compliance: Familiarity with security best practices, including firewalls, encryption, and access control mechanisms.
• Storage & Backup: Experience with LVM, RAID, and backup/disaster recovery solutions.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to document technical processes clearly and collaborate effectively in a team setting.
