Medical Representative - Jeddah

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Medical Representative to join our team in Jeddah. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the essential link between Hikma Pharmaceuticals and healthcare professionals, driving the awareness, adoption, and utilization of our pharmaceutical and medical products. Your primary responsibility will be to execute strategic sales and marketing activities in the field, ensuring alignment with company guidelines and achieving predefined sales and marketing targets. Under the guidance of your Supervisor or Manager, you will leverage available resources to maximize market penetration and foster long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales and Target Achievement: Review and analyze updated sales targets, activities, and performance metrics to assess progress toward goals. Develop and implement actionable plans to meet or exceed these targets through effective engagement with healthcare professionals.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong professional relationships with doctors, pharmacists, hospital medical teams, and other key accounts. Organize and conduct appointments, meetings, and events to educate and persuade stakeholders on the benefits and value of Hikma’s products.
• Product Awareness and Education: Enhance the visibility and understanding of Hikma’s product portfolio by continuously updating your knowledge and sharing relevant information with healthcare providers. Stay abreast of industry trends, product updates, and competitive landscape to effectively position our offerings.
• Market Intelligence and Prospecting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customers, including doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals. Identify and prospect new opportunities to expand our customer base and ensure comprehensive territory coverage.
• Product Availability and Competitive Monitoring: Ensure optimal product availability within your assigned territory while closely monitoring competitor activities and products. Provide timely feedback on market dynamics and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
• Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and submit accurate sales documentation, performance reports, and feedback to your supervisor or manager as required. Adhere to all company policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical standards to maintain compliance in all professional interactions.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.S. in Pharmacy) is required. Additional certifications or training in pharmaceutical sales or marketing are advantageous.
• Experience: A minimum of 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical sales, medical representative roles, or a closely related field is preferred. Prior exposure to the healthcare sector and familiarity with pharmaceutical products will be highly beneficial.
• Skills and Competencies:
