Key Responsibilities

As the Assistant Sales Manager – EHS, you will be responsible for the strategic sales and marketing of SGS’s Environment, Health & Safety services within the Western Region of Saudi Arabia. Your core duties will include:

• Market Penetration and Expansion: Identify and penetrate key vertical industry markets to cultivate a robust and sustainable client base, ensuring SGS remains a trusted partner in EHS compliance.
• Prequalification and Registrations: Complete all necessary prequalification processes and registrations with major industry players, positioning SGS as a preferred provider of EHS services in the region.
• Client Relationship Management: Leverage internal resources and external relationships to establish and nurture consultative business relationships with clients, fostering long-term partnerships built on trust and value.
• Sales and Prospecting: Conduct direct business-to-business sales activities, including face-to-face meetings and phone-based prospecting, to generate high-quality leads and drive revenue growth.
• Industry Engagement: Actively participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance SGS’s visibility and credibility in the EHS sector.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all sales activities and client engagements adhere to SGS’s stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining the company’s reputation for excellence.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Science or Business Administration, with a specialization in Environmental fields, is required.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 4-5 years of proven experience in a Sales or Business Development role within the Environmental Services or Geotechnical Industry is essential.
• Collaboration and Communication: Exceptional collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and build strong internal and external relationships.
• Customer-Centric Mindset: A service-oriented approach with a strong commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction and delivering value-driven solutions.
