Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will:

• Design and Optimize Infrastructure: Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure solutions using industry best practices, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technological advancements.
• Automate and Streamline Operations: Build and maintain automation tools and CI/CD pipelines to facilitate rapid, reliable, and repeatable software delivery, reducing time-to-market and enhancing operational efficiency.
• Ensure System Reliability: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot issues proactively to maintain optimal uptime and responsiveness.
• Leverage Cloud Technologies: Implement and manage cloud-based architectures on leading platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, leveraging their full potential to support Ninja’s growth and innovation.
• Document and Standardize: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing, consistency, and compliance with best practices across the organization.
• Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance our infrastructure, ensuring Ninja remains at the cutting edge of the industry.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following expertise and experience:

• Proven Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a DevOps Engineer role or a related position, with a track record of designing and managing complex infrastructure environments.
• Scripting and Automation: Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby, enabling efficient automation and custom tool development.
• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, including the implementation and management of cloud-based services and architectures.
• Hybrid Infrastructure: Experience working with both on-premise and bare metal servers, as well as Windows Server environments, to support diverse operational needs.
• Infrastructure-as-Code: Expertise in tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to define and manage infrastructure programmatically, ensuring scalability and reproducibility.
• Containerization and Orchestration: In-depth knowledge of Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration, enabling efficient deployment and management of microservices.
• Service Management: Prior experience with setting up and maintaining essential services, including relational databases, Elasticsearch, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Redis, to support high-performance applications.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or CircleCI, facilitating automated testing, deployment, and monitoring workflows.
• Networking and Security: A strong understanding of networking concepts and security principles, ensuring robust protection and compliance for Ninja’s systems and data.
• Monitoring and Logging: Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Problem-Solving and Collaboration: Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting abilities, coupled with strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
