Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our finance team. Key Responsibilities

The Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the organization by executing a wide range of accounting functions. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with established accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Financial Recording: Ensure the precise and timely recording of all financial transactions, maintaining organized and up-to-date financial documentation to support audit trails and internal reviews.
• Reconciliation and Analysis: Perform detailed reconciliations of financial accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring the integrity of financial data through systematic analysis and verification.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development, monitoring, and analysis of organizational budgets and financial forecasts, providing actionable insights to optimize resource allocation and financial planning.
• Business Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver financial analysis and recommendations that drive informed business decisions, enhancing operational efficiency and profitability.
• Accounts Receivable and Payable: Oversee the management of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring timely invoicing, payment processing, and adherence to credit and payment terms.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of evolving financial regulations and accounting standards, ensuring full compliance with legal and statutory requirements to mitigate financial and operational risks.
• Audit Support: Facilitate internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responses to auditor inquiries, maintaining transparency and accountability throughout the audit process.
• Confidentiality and Integrity: Uphold the strictest standards of confidentiality regarding financial information, safeguarding sensitive data and ensuring its secure handling in accordance with organizational policies and legal obligations.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following educational and professional criteria:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Professional certifications such as ACCA or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Experience: A minimum of three years of progressive accounting experience is essential, with a proven track record in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance within a corporate or organizational setting.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, along with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools, is critical for success in this position.
• Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong analytical abilities to interpret financial data, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills to present findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required to effectively collaborate with global teams and ensure seamless communication across international operations.
